Where Will the Wedding be Held?
The actual ceremony will be held the evening of that day at Smather’s Beach in Key West, FL. Below, you will find a Google map with directions to the beach and a few photos.

Our wedding will be put on by Weddings To Go Key West, I know that might sound a tad un-tasteful…but BELIEVE me, they do have photographic evidence that will clear up any doubt you might have. Go and check out some of their previous ceremonies and take a look at the set ups that have been used in the past.
Where Will We be Able to Stay?
Good question, you can feel free to stay wherever you would like but we CAN recommend a couple of places where we have stayed. First of all, George has a deal worked out with the Double tree Grand Key Resort for 15 guest rooms at a group rate of $119.00 a night per room for June 2-8th, 2010. This is a great deal because it is right across the street from the beach where the ceremony will be, they are waiving the parking fees for us, AND there is a shuttle that will take you anywhere on the island round trip for $5 per person round trip. It is a great hotel (believe me I already checked out the pool/tiki bar area) with comfy rooms, restaraunts, and they even serve fresh baked cookies :). Hurry, because I know those 15 rooms will go fast!

Papa’s Hideaway
If you would like another option, Papa’s Hideaway is a wonderful bed and breakfast. With a rich history and a hot tub, haha, Papa’s Hideaway would definitely help to calm your nerves. This amazing little B&B is centrally located right near the heart of Downtown Key West. So, if shopping is your heart’s desire, this may be the vacation home for you.
Lastly, if you are looking for REAL luxury and pampering to the max, The Key West Beachside Resort is the way to go. I believe that these rooms can go for around 2 million dollars a piece, if you want to BUY one. However, you can rent them as well and for the treatment and experience that you get, I think that it is well worth it. The only downside is that this hotel is nowhere near downtown. Although, EcoSCUBA is only a block away! =)
